Among luxuriant and green landscapes, rich in olive trees and vineyards, rises Villa Barone, an ancient dwelling dating back to the mid XIX century. It changed its use a lot of times during the last two hundred years.
It was a shelter for travelers and merchants along the Appia road and a store house for straw and hay in the XX century. During the Second World War a fire made the roof of the central core fall down. Since then it was left deserted. In 1994 the current owners began the renovations and after a long an careful rebuilding since 2007 Villa Barone came to new life in perfect accord with the wonderful surroundings.
